Is a canvas painting party a good fit for my child's age?
We pre-trace age-appropriate designs and provide step-by-step guidance from a dedicated art instructor. The host chooses the painting subject, and guests paint the same picture. Contact the studio before booking if you need help choosing a design for your group's ages.
Are materials included?
Yes. Canvas parties include canvases, brushes, acrylic paint, aprons, and instruction, plus tables and chairs in the assigned studio space. Each painter takes home their artwork.
Does an adult need to stay?
Yes. An adult must stay for the entire party. Our instructor leads the painting activity; parents are responsible for managing cake and gift time. The birthday child's family remains in the assigned party area.
Can invited guests be dropped off? Where should parents wait?
Canvas parties are designed as drop-off events for invited guests. Their parents are encouraged to return at pickup time. Parents who stay must remain in the assigned party room, where extra seating is limited. The main studio is available to parents only if they are painting separately from the party.
When should guests be picked up?
Arrange pickup with the party host for the end of the guest party time. The two-hour booking includes 15 minutes for setup, 1.5 hours for painting, cake, and gifts, and 15 minutes for cleanup. Confirm the guest arrival and pickup times with your host before dropping off your child.
What should the host bring?
Bring your snacks, cake, beverages, decorations, and paper goods, including a plastic tablecloth for the food table, plates, napkins, utensils, and ice. Hosts are responsible for cleaning up everything they bring. Please do not bring confetti or glitter.
How many painters are included?
The birthday child paints free with up to 10 friends, for 11 painters total. Contact the studio before booking if you need additional painters; extra fees depend on canvas size.
How far ahead should I book?
We recommend booking at least two to three weeks ahead, especially for weekend parties. Choose your canvas size, preferred party date, and start time, then complete payment. We confirm your date and time by email within 24 hours. If you do not receive confirmation, contact the studio.
How does payment work?
Online bookings require full payment to hold the scheduled day. If you would like to book with a deposit and pay the balance later, visit the studio to arrange your booking.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
As stated in our Kids Canvas Painting Party Package, payments are nonrefundable. You may reschedule or convert your event to a to-go at-home event outside the seven-day restriction. Private events are nonrefundable and nontransferable within seven days of the event, and events cannot be rescheduled within that period. Unfilled seats and no-shows are not refunded.
Where can we celebrate?
Plan your studio visit at our McDonough location. A to-go at-home option is also described in the canvas party package for event changes, subject to its booking terms. Confirm your chosen experience and location details before booking.
Where can I review the package and book?
